Hello Reader, Knowing was never your problem. You've done this alone before. With real intelligence and real intention. You made the list. You wrote in the journal at 5am. You had the drive home where everything went suddenly, gloriously clear. And then somewhere around week six it dissolved. Not dramatically. There was no failure to point at. It simply, quietly, stopped being the thing you were doing. You concluded that you lacked discipline. I want to offer you a different explanation. You were the one asking the question and also the one grading the answer. There was no one in that room who couldn't be talked out of what they saw — because the only one in the room was you. That isn't a character flaw. It's closer to physics. You cannot see the room you are standing in. Or as I like to ask, does a fish know it's in water? My clients almost never thank me for advice. They thank me for the question they could not ask themselves, and for the mirror they could not hold at that angle. That is not something you can do alone, no matter how honest you are. Honesty is not the missing ingredient. Another set of eyes is. Today's Threshold QuestionWhat did you decide last January that you have already quietly renegotiated? One week this autumn. One person. No group to sit quietly at the back of: the Becoming Limitless Experience. Still listening, P.S. "Alicia designed and facilitated a personal retreat for me in her beautiful, restorative and inspiring backyard in the Algarve. I trusted her to support me in developing a healthier balance between my thinking and feeling, and her guidance provided clear focus and thoughtful and practical support. Alicia has the gift of asking the most incisive question and giving space for the response to emerge." ~ Jana K. The Shaman's Wife Two Year Anniversary!
