Pausing to say hello!I've had quite a few new subscribers recently (which is always a good thing!). One person sent me an email saying she loved my writing and shared how it helped her. Then she asked, "Why do you write?" I wanted to share the answer to that and other questions readers have asked me in the last few months. As I get ready to 1) launch the audiobook of The Shaman's Wife, 2) complete the 2nd Edition of Everyday Epiphanies, which I first published in 2017 and 3) begin a new book filled with musings, life philosophy, some poetry and journal prompts called The Stillness Within: A Contemporary Mystic’s Path to Reflection, Deep Connection and Authentic Living.(working title-click on the link for a preview), I wanted to share those questions and answers with you. What do you write about and why?My writing explores the intersection of spirituality, intuition, and personal transformation. I am curious about this because I believe that deep self-inquiry and connection to something greater than ourselves lead to a more authentic, meaningful life. What drives you as a writer?I’m driven by the desire to uncover hidden truths, challenge conventional thinking, and guide others toward clarity and self-discovery. Writing is how I make sense of complexity and invite others to do the same. What themes do you love exploring in your work?I love exploring themes of identity, intuition, belonging, stillness, and the unseen forces that shape our lives. My work often reflects on the tension between structure and surrender, logic and mystery, ambition and rest. What inspires you, and do you believe you inspire others?I’m inspired by nature, mysticism, silence, and the power of bold questions. I hope my writing inspires readers to trust their inner knowing, embrace uncertainty, and cultivate a more expansive view of themselves and the world. What are you passionate about that you express through your writing?I am passionate about helping people break free from limiting narratives, reconnect with their intuition, and lead from a place of authenticity and wisdom. My writing is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and step into a life that feels true.
